On 25th January 1942 this 78 Squadron aircraft appears to have been flown on a non-operational flight. At 12.35hrs the aircraft made a low approach to land at Croft airfield, once over the airfield the pilot allowed the speed to fall and the aircraft stalled, dropping 15-20 feet to the ground. It made a heavy landing which caused damage to the undercarriage.
