On 26th January 1942 this 102 Squadron aircraft was parked at Dalton airfield and was corrected positioned for the forecast gale warning that had been received earlier. Unfortunately the wind direction changed. The wind blowing over the elevators stretched the control wires and it was slightly damaged.
