It was repaired on site by a team from Vickers. The aircraft was repaired by the end of the year and back with 45 M.U.. It was taken on charge by 16 O.T.U. at Upper Heyford on 25th February 1942 and was transferred to 25 O.T.U. at Finningley on 24th April 1942. As a result of the damage sustained on 26th June 1942 Cat.A/FB damage was the assessment and it was repaired on site. The incident is not recorded on the aircraft's AM Form 78. The aircraft was later taken on charge by 11 O.T.U. at Westcott on 21st September 1942. It remained with them until 28th January 1944 when it was flown to 48 MU. Two days later it was flown to 23 MU and was placed in MU store. It was struck off charge on 1st November 1944 probably as a time expired aircraft.
