Wellington X3310 damaged by flak, returned to Snaith airfield.

On the night of 26th / 27th September 1942 the crew of this 150 Squadron undertook a mine laying operational flight and took off from Snaith at 19.10hrs. This aircraft received flak damage in the course of the night and a member of the crew was injured. Despite the damage the pilot landed safely at Snaith at 01.50hrs. The airman's injuries were not severe as he was back flying operationally before the end of the month.
