Tiger Moth R5107 was built to contract 20916/39 by D.H.Ltd. at Hatfield and was awaiting collection in March 1941. After a period of storage it was taken on charge by the Central Flying School at Wittering before being transferred to 4 E.F.T.S. at Brough on an unknown date. The incident on 20th August 1941 it not recorded in it's published Air Britain history but was almost certainly a Cat.A incident following assessment of the damage. The aircraft later appears on charge with the Station Flight at Turnhouse before moving to 11 E.F.T.S. at Perth. Post-WW2 this unit was re-designated 11 R.F.S. The aircraft was flown into MU store for disposal on an unknown date and was then sold on 4th May 1950. It's civilian history has yet to be researched.
