Unidentified Blenheim at Church Fenton airfield.
The 54 Operational Training Unit ORB briefly states that on 31st August 1941 an unidentified Blenheim MkIV suffered a fuel leak in the air. The pilot landed without incident at Church Fenton airfield but at 14.13hrs the aeroplane then caught fire on the ground. The aeroplane received considerable damage. The pilot was later posted to 68 Squadron.
