Unidentified Blenheim at Church Fenton airfield.
The 54 Operational Training Unit ORB briefly states that on 20th September 1941 an unidentified Blenheim MkIV sustained damage at Church Fenton airfield whilst taking off. At 00.40hrs the aircraft failed to lift on take off, when it did get off the ground the pilot raised the undercarriage too soon, the aircraft then sunk and the belly struck the ground. Minor damage resulted.
