Blackburn B.2 G-AEBJ at Brough airfield.
During the afternoon of 21st August 1940 this No.4 E.F.T.S. aircraft was being flown on a dual instruction training flight in the Brough area. At 15.40hrs when the instructor was demonstrating making a forced landing approach the aircraft stalled. Because it was being flown too low there was not enough height to recover the aircraft and it crashed. It was being flown too low and too slowly in rough weather.
Pilot - P/O Frederick Walter Hillman RAF (42751).
