Enemy action at Leconfield airfield.
At 18.08hrs on 27th October 1940 Leconfield airfield was attacked by two enemy Heinkel HeIII aircraft and at least one person was injured. He later died of injuries in Beverley on 2nd November 1940. He appears to have been attached to 303 Squadron who were at Leconfield at the time.
