Hurricane L2101 at Doncaster airfield.
On 12th September 1939 Gaunlet K5338 of 616 Squadron aircraft had landed at Doncaster airfield and was being taxied around the airfield when it came close to stationary 616 Squadron Hurricane L2101. The pilot of the Gauntlet attempted to swing the aircraft clear but was unable to prevent a collision between the propeller of his aircraft and the port wing tip of the Hurricane.
