Maule G-ITON.
On 10th July 2005 this aircraft was returning to Oxenhope aerodrome when the pilot noticed that the oil pressure gauge was showing
below what it should have been. Rather than risking a complete engine failure he force landed the aircraft in a field at Intake Farm,
Embsay. There was little damage to the aircraft, a photograph in the Craven Herald and Pioneer newspaper shows the propeller to be
slightly bent. The rest of the aircraft appears to have been undamaged. It's wings were removed and it was taken away by road and rebuilt.
There were no injuries. The incident does not feature in the AAIB online reports index. It is now based in Finland.
