Glasflugel 303 Mosquito G-DECH glider near Thirlmere.

Believed to have been on 25th April 2008 a glider flying from the Eden Soaring Club site force landed in a field at West Head, Thirlmere but ended up coming to rest across a barbed wire fence and in a stream. The pilot was slightly injured as a result of this incident. Basic information was printed in local newspapers at the time from which this basic webpage is created.

This glider was owned by the pilot and his wife, of Troston, near Bury St.Edmunds, Suffolk. He had been a member of the Cambridge Gliding Club. This glider had previously been registered as BGA.2575.
