In the "Cumbria" magazine dated August 1966 there was a letter published from an "E.Grieg Hall, of Grasmere" who was asking for information about the wreckage of a small plane that he saw whilst walking in the area of Great Sca Fell and Knott during 1956, the aircraft was removed two weeks later when he passed the site again.

I have not identified what this relates to and it appears to be an incident I do not already have a webpage for. I would welcome additional information.
