Mosquito FB.VI TE593 at Catfoss airfield.

On 17th September 1945 this Central Gunnery School aircraft was being flown on a training flight and was on the approach to land at Catfoss airfield at 11.45hrs when it stalled and struck the ground around 150 yards short of the airfield. The pilot, who was flying solo, escaped injury.
