Seafire F.XV SW903 at Sherburn in Elmet airfield.

On 25th September 1945 this aircraft overshot on landing at Sherburn in Elmet airfield during what was probably a refuelling stop during a ferry flight, it struck some form of obstruction and was damaged. It appears to have been in the care of No.2 Ferry Pilot Pool who were based at Whitchurch, Sherburn in Elmet was where No.7 Ferry Pilot Pool were based.
