Spitfire PV299 at Hutton Cranswick airfield.
At 16.30hrs on 7th June 1945 124 Squadron Spitfire RR209 landed at Hutton Cranswick airfield following a local flying exercise. While taxying to a dispersal point the aircraft struck two starter trolleys with the propeller. The aircraft received damage and another 124 Squadron aircraft, Spitfire PV299, was sat parked and empty on a dispsersal, it was also struck by fragments of flying propeller blades and slightly damaged.
