Halifax VI PP182 at Pocklington airfield.

On 20th July 1945 this 102 Squadron aircraft was taxied into by Halifax RG611 at Pocklington airfield. Both aircraft sustained extensive damage. PP182 initially received a Cat.B damage assessment, but this was the downgraded to Re-Cat.Ac on 25th July 1945 and was repaired on site by a team from Handley Page. It was returned to 102 Squadron during September 1945 before being flown to 48 M.U. in February 1946.
