York C.1 MZ161 at Riccall airfield.

On 17th October 1945 this 1332 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft suffered one of the main tyres bursting on take off, possibly at Riccall airfield. The crew got the aircraft into the air but when it came to landing later the pilot made a belly landing at Riccall. The aircraft was not repaired but was converted to Ground Instructional Airframe 5733M.
