At 12.15hrs on 22nd August 1945 this No.1 Squadron aircraft made a heavy landing at Hutton Cranswick airfield following a training exercise. The starboard wing dipped, the wing tip hit the ground and the tail rose into the air causing the propeller to sustain damage.
