Mosquito FB.VI HJ785 at Croft airfield.

On 15th November 1945 this No.13 Operational Training Unit aircraft swung on take off at Croft airfield, left the runway and could not be stopped before it ran through the boundary hedge and ripped of the undercarriage. Later, Mosquito DZ722 taxied into the wrecked aircraft and was itself then badly damaged. Both aircraft were subsequently written off.
