Firebrand TF.IV EK622 near Brough.

On 18th July 1945 this aircraft was being test flown by the test pilot of the manufacturer, Blackburn Aircraft, when the engine failed. The pilot attempted a belly landing near Elloughton but crashed into a field beside the village school. The aircraft sustained damage and the pilot was injured.
