Anson AX319 at Sherburn in Elmet airfield.

On 9th August 1945 this aircraft appears to have sustained some form of flying accident damage at Sherburn in Elmet airfield while in the care of the A.T.A. It was being flown by a member of No.7 Ferry Pilot Pool, of the ATA who had their headquarters at Sherburn in Elmet. The only reference to this incident occurring was mentioned in passing in the pilot's biography on "ata-ferry-pilots.org". From and to where the aircraft was being ferried is not known.

This pilot also suffered a mishap in Stinson Reliant FB663 while in the care of 7 F.P.P., at Sherburn in Elmet airfield.
