Unidentified Swordfish near Pontefract.
The only mention of this incident I have located is within the Church Fenton airfield station record book that states during the evening of 1st October 1945 a Royal Navy Swordfish made a forced landing near Pontefract. The crew were taken to Church Fenton airfield where they spent the night. Unfortunately nothing more is known about this incident.
