Ground accident at Thornaby airfield.
At 16.15hrs on 12th November 1945 while groundcrew were working on a Warwick aircraft in a dispersal point at Thornaby airfield when a lifeboat below the aircraft broke free and crushed one of the members of groundcrew.
Groundcrew - Cpl Bentley. Injured.
