Tornado GR.4 ZA606 damaged in the air, landed at Leeming airfield.
On Wednesday, 28th March 1990 this Tornado Weapons Conversion Unit (T.W.C.U.) aircraft suffered damage as a result of a bird strike. The crew diverted to Leeming and made a normal landing where the damage was later assessed. The unit was normally based at Honington, Suffolk.
