Schleicher K7 Rhonadler BGA.2601 at Pocklington airfield.
During the morning of Thursday, 6th September 1990 this glider was being flown in the Pocklington area with a stong and gusty crosswind. A lesser experienced pilot was at the controls on the approach to land at Pocklington and was flying with what appears to have been an instructor. The strong wind caused the glider to sink on the approach and despite the more experienced pilot taking control the glider landed left wing down in the undershoot area at 11.53hrs and was damaged.
