Cessna F.150L G-BBJX at Leeds-Bradford airfield.
During the evening of 16th May 1990 the pilot of this aircraft was carrying out a solo training exercise that saw him practice flying circuits and landings at Leeds-Bradford airfield. On his third approach to land and flying with a low sun in the sky, the pilot noticed that his rate of descent was increasing. He attempted to apply power to the engine to level out but he was unable to prevent the aircraft from bouncing on landing and coming to rest at the side of the runway. Some damage resulted. At the time of this incident the aircraft was registered to Yorkshire Flying Services Ltd, of Leeds-Bradford Airport.
