Unidentified Schleicher K-7/13 at Pocklington airfield.

During the evening of Monday, 21st May 1990 this glider was due to have been flown from Pocklington airfield and in the cockpit was an instructor with a pupil. On the launch the glider was being held on a wingtip by a lady but as the glider lauch begun the lady's wedding ring caught on a metal plate on the wing tip, she could not pull her hand clear and the finger was severed. The glider appears to have been undamaged.
