Jet Provost T.5 XW291 damaged in the air, landed at Leeds-Bradford airfield.
On 3rd July 1989 this No.6 Flying Training School aircraft suffered a bird strike to the engine whilst in the air. The pilot made a precautionary landing at Leeds-Bradford airfield with minor damage. It was taken into the Northair hanger where it was repaired and was then flown out three days later.
