Mainair Sports Gemini Flash IIA G-MTYZ damaged, location unknown.
On 24th April 1989 this microlight Gemini Flash G-MTYZ crashed with fatal results near Balne, between Doncaster and Selby. The AAIB report for this incident stated it was being test flown following repair that was carried out after an earlier incident that occurred in 1989 where it had sustained damage to the left wing during a landing accident. It was owned and registered to Robert Findlow, of Mirfield, and was probably damaged in Yorkshire but when this occurred or what happened is not clear.
