Cessna 401 G-OADS at Leeds-Bradford airfield.
At 10.15hrs on 13th May 1988 this aircraft landed normally at Leeds-Bradford airfield but while on the landing run the right main undercarriage leg slowly collapsed. The aircaft was taken across the airfield to the Yorkshire Light Aircraft hanger to inspected and then to be rebuilt. It was found that the bearing of one of the undercarriage parts was inadequately lubricated and a bellcrank attached to it eventually broke. Once repaired the aircraft left Leeds-Bradford on 19th January 1989 to be returned to the owner. It was registered to Automated Data Systems Ltd, of Purley, Surrey at the time of this incident.
