Shaw Twin-Ez G-IVAN at Crosland Moor airfield.
On Sunday, 4th September 1988 a fly-in was held at Crosland Moor airfield. This aircraft was used to undertake a rare formation flying exercise with Rutan Long Ez N87KJ in the area around Crossland Moor airfield. On the approach to land at Crosland Moor the undercarriage of G-IVAN failed to lower which saw the pilot make a belly landing. This aircraft was originally a single engined aircraft but was converted to a twin engine over the Winter of 1986-87. It was registered to Ivan Shaw who based it at Crosland Moor airfield at this time.
