Unidentified glider at Pocklington airfield.
At 16.00hrs on 26th June 1988 during an aerotow launch from Pocklington airfield this glider turned head on into a wind. The pilot must have then cast off but the right wing struck crops and while the pilot attempted to recover the flight it then crashed and was substantially damaged. The identity of the glider is not stated in the Sailplane and Gliding magazine accident summary record.
