Jet Provost T.5a XW324 damaged in the air, landed at Leeds-Bradford airfield.

On 17th August 1987 this No.6 Flying Training School aircraft suffered a damaged tailplane as the result of a birdstrike. The pilot remained in control and made a landing at Leeds-Bradford airfield. It was repaired on site at Leeds-Bradford airfield and flown back to Finningley the following day.
