Jet Provost T.5 XW304 damaged in the air, landed at Leeds-Bradford airfield.

On 27th August 1987 this No.6 Flying Training School aircraft suffered a birdstrike whilst in flight. The pilot was able to remain in control and made a landing at Leeds-Bradford airfield as a precaution. No significant damage must have occurred as it then left after three hours, presumably to return to base at Finningley.
