Cessna 310R G-BJMR at Sherburn in Elmet airfield.
This aircraft must have been damaged at or near Sherburn in Elmet airfield before 8th November 1987 but what occurred is not known. On this date it was seen at Northair at Leeds-Bradford airfield in a damaged state where it was due for repair. It had been moved by road from Sherburn in Elmet to Leeds-Bradford by road. The aircraft was registered to A-One Transport (Leeds) Ltd, of Morley, but they appear to have based the aircraft at Sherburn in Elmet airfield. The damage must have been severe as it was noted in Air Yorkshire magazines as being test flown a year later on 25th November 1988 but it was January 1989 before it was ready to move on. There is no AAIB accident report to give any clues as to what may have happened to damage it.
This aircraft had been slightly damaged on 30th September 1984 at Old Warden and after inspection was flown to Sherburn in Elmet and then to Leeds-Bradford for repair.
