Andreasson BA-4B G-BEBS at Netherthorpe airfield.

During the morning of 14th November 1987 this aircraft was flown on a local flight around the Netherthorpe airfield. On take off the wind was significantly less than what it was when he returned, which was then gusting. At 11.00hrs the aircraft made one approach to land but the pilot was unhappy with the approach so flew an overshoot and a circuit. The aircraft then landed normally after a second approach but at the end of the landing run a gust of wind caught the aircraft and lifted it into the air. This caused the tail to rise and it flipped over. The pilot was strapped in and was not injured. The aircraft was registered to Jon Henry Boulton, of Rainsworth, Mansfield, who probably based it at Netherthorpe.
