Taylorcraft BC-12D Twosome G-BIGK near Breighton.
At 16.00hrs on 18th June 1986 this aircraft was making an approach to land at Breighton airfield when it struck tall crops just before the runway. The aircraft then pitched forward and crashed, nose first. It came to rest on the airfield but received considerable damage. The aircraft was registered to Michael Allen Commander Stephenson, of Hutton Buscel, Scarborough, at the time of the incident.
