Andreasson BA-4B G-BEBS at Breighton airfield.

During the afternoon of 2nd September 1986 this aircraft was given a test flight in the area of Breighton airfield to evaluate it for handling with a view to use it for display flying and possible aerobatic use. At 17.30hrs, on the approach to land at Breighton the speed of the aircraft was allowed to drop and this then saw the aircraft sink into the ground just before reaching the airfield. The wheels sank into some soft soil (possibly a ploughed field), the tail lifted up and it slowly overturned. It came to rest upside down at the side of the runway. It was repaired but damaged again the following year. The aircraft was registered to David Michael Fenton, of North Duffield at the time.
