Slingsby T.45 Swallow BGA.1061 at Burn airfield.
On 4th July 1985 the pilot of this glider was making an approach to land at Burn airfield when he noticed that another glider was attached to an aero-tow aircraft and awaiting take off. As he neared landing the tug aircraft began to move and in attempting to glide clear of the moving aircraft it stalled and made a heavy landing. Damage to the glider resulted. In the 1984-85 British Soaring Handbook this glider is listed as registered to Burn Gliding Club.
