Schleicher Ka-6CR BGA.2315 near Anston.
On 31st May 1984 this glider was flown on what was the pilot's first cross country flight. At 16.30hrs he attempted to make a landing in a field between Worksop and Rotherham, near Anston and having selected an initial field for this landing he then changed his mind and made for one that he thought was a better choice. The glider did not gain lift in attempting to reach this second field and descended into a field with a crop growing in it. The tail of the glider was then damaged on landing. In the 1984-85 British Soaring Handbook this glider is listed as registered to Burn Gliding Club.
