SZD-36A Cobra 15 BGA.1739 at Rufforth airfield.
At 14.21hrs on 9th June 1984 the pilot of this glider found the runway at Rufforth obstructed so attempted a landing on the grass. The glider ran onto the runway and struck some form of obstruction which threw it back into the air. As a result of the following heavy landing the glider was further damaged. In the 1984-85 British Soaring Handbook this glider is listed as registered to Barry Lumb who based it at Rufforth.
