Cessna F.150H G-OJVH at Sherburn in Elmet airfield.
On 19th November 1983 a trainee pilot was attempting to take off in this aircraft from Sherburn in Elmet airfield but did not have the speed required to take off. A wing clipped the ground and it was slightly damaged. The instructor was instructing his son at the time of this incident. The aircraft was previously registered as G-AWJZ and it's last registered keeper was Westshells Ltd, of Grimsby but was changed to G-OJVH in 1981 by them. At the time of this incident it was still registered to Westshells Ltd, though they moved their office to Brayton, Selby and it was probably housed at Sherburn in Elmet airfield. It was taken to Leeds-Bradford airfield for repair.
