Schleicher Ka-6 BGA.2478 damaged in the air, landed normally (possibly near Eggborough).

On an unknown date in 1983 this glider was being flown near Eggborough power station when an unsecured radio set came free when the glider experienced negative-G. It flew up and cracked the canopy. The pilot went on to land normally, possibly near the power station, or possibly on an airfield.

This glider was probably registered to W.Bowden of Bellarena, Northern Ireland at the time of this incident.
