Schleicher Ka-6 BGA.1279 at Doncaster airfield.
At 15.15hrs on 14th February 1982 a collision occurred between two gliders on the ground at Doncaster airfield. A Libelle glider was sat waiting to begin an aerotow launch when the starboard wing was struck by the port wing of Schleicher Ka-6 BGA.1279 that was landing. BGA.1279 was registered to J.D.Gray, of Doncaster.
