Grumman AA-5A Cheetah G-BAOV at Grindale airstrip.
During the afternoon of Saturday, 10th April 1982 this aircraft received damage at Grindale airstrip. Photographs of the aircraft are on the Air Britain photograph archive that were taken two days after the incident and show it strapped to a trailor with what appears to be a bent propeller and with the undercarriage collapsed. At the time of this incident this aircraft was registered to Mr George Kenneth Ellerker, of Sherburn, Malton, North Yorkshire. It was probably based at Grindale.
