Reims Cessna FA.152 Aerobat G-BFGL at Leeds-Bradford airfield.
On Friday, 25th September 1981 this aircraft landed on the north to south Runway No.19 at Leeds-Bradford airfield but could not stop. It overshot, ran off the end of the runway, across the grass and down a steep bank onto the edge of Horsforth Golf Course, overturning at the bottom of the slope. Golf continued through the weekend with the aircraft left there. The following week, the wings and tail were removed and once the right way up, it was pushed back up Bayton Lane around to the Yorkshire Light Aircraft's hanger for rebuild. The aircraft was registered to Yorkshire Flying Services Ltd, of Leeds-Bradford airfield and was back flying again in March 1982.
