Piper PA-23-250 Aztec G-AZZL at Grindale airstrip.
On 2nd April 1980 this aircraft overran runway on landing at Grindale airstrip following a flight from Leeds-Bradford airfield. It ran into a ploughed field which caused the nosewheel to collapse. Damage resulted to the nosewheel and propellers. The aircraft was registered to Air Class Ltd, of Derby, shortly after this incident but they must have taken ownership prior to this date.
