Morane-Saulnier MS.890 Rallye Commodore G-AZSL.
The Air Yorkshire newsletter of July 1980 mentions that this aeroplane was seen on the back of a lorry heading East on the York by-pass on 21st July 1980. Presumably it would have been easier to have flown it somewhere had it been simply being moved so I make an assumption that it had been damaged somewhere in the days prior to this date. It was registered to Mr Frederick James Shevill, of South Milford and presumably he kept the aircraft at nearby Sherburn in Elmet airfield.
