Unidentified Bell 47 near Pocklington.
A newspaper report located states that on 9th September 1980 a G.S.M. Helicopter was undertaking cropspraying work at a farm near Pocklington when the pilot crash landed. G.S.M. Helicopters were based at Bridge Hewick, near Ripon.
Pilot - Mr Richard Meston.
Mr Meston died as a result of a flying accident at Loch Fyne, Scotland on 5th May 1995 when Squirrel G-PLMA crashed.
